We are currently taking applications for a Full Time Payroll Specialist / Bookkeeper

 

Duties include:

 

PAYROLL DUTIES:

Processing Payroll for multiple companies.

Weekly, bi-weekly, monthly payrolls.

After-the-Fact payrolls.

Payroll tax payments as required for each client.

Quarterly payroll tax reports.

 

BOOKKEEPING DUTIES:

Working with approximately 5 bookkeeping clients.

Entering data from client documents to record expenses and income.

Accurately coding and reconciling accounts.

Reconciling bank statements and credit card statements.

Performing journal entries for payroll, loans, assets, and other adjusting journal entries.

Review and produce monthly financial statements.

 

Maintain a professional relationship with clients.

Must be able to work independently.

 

MUST have at least 2 years experience with QuickBooks Desktop.

 

Knowledge of Sales Tax filing and Business Property Tax Listing is a plus.
